Automotive firms dominate Turkey's list of largest exporters
(MENAFN) According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), automotive firms have conquered Turkey's list of largest exporters, accrediting for half of the top 10 companies.
Ford was named Turkey’s largest exporter in 2020, followed by Toyota Engine Manufacturing Turkey and Oyak Renault.
Major appliances producers Vestel and Arcelik, foreign trade companies Kibar and TGS, automotive firms Tofas and Mercedes Benz Turk, and chemical giant Tupras, were among the top 10 list.
The sector champions were also proclaimed in 28 different categories.
In addition, the country's exports amounted at almost USD170 billion in 2020.
