Clomiphene Citrate Is An Important Drug That Is Used To Prevent A Miscarriage

(MENAFN- Coherent Market Insights) Clomiphene Citrate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory supplement that may be used in the treatment of osteoarthritis or to reduce the symptoms of arthritis. Each white capsule contains 50mg clomiphene citrate USP each. The capsule also includes the following additional inactive ingredients: dextrose, calcium thistle, corn fiber, sodium saccharin, monosodium gluconate, monostat, potassium phosphate, sodium benzoate, calcium carbonate, and aluminum chloride. Although the manufacturer does not list what other ingredients are included in this product, it is safe to assume that many of the ingredients in this product will compete with known allergens, toxins, irritants, and cancer-causing agents.

Clomiphene stimulates the body's production of human growth hormone (HGH), a naturally occurring hormone in the body. This supplement is recommended for premenopausal women who may experience an increased level of estrogen after their menopause. It is thought to relieve symptoms associated with menopause such as depression, sleep disorders, hot flashes, and fatigue. However, clomiphene should not be used by pregnant women or women who are breastfeeding. It should not be used in combination with any hormonal therapy, such as birth control pills or hormones used for fertility treatments.

Some studies have shown that clomiphene may help regulate the release of human growth hormone, as well as estrogen and progesterone, during the menstrual cycle. In one study, ovaries from women treated with clomiphene showed no difference in the hormone levels of the ovaries on average during the first two cycles that they were examined in detail. Women who were treated with clomiphene during the first two cycles had no significant increase in the level of human growth hormone during the third cycle; however, this did not last. It was later found that the ovaries from these women that had received clomiphene during the first cycle mature eggs at a much younger age than those from women that did not receive the treatment.

Some experts believe that estrogen and progesterone may actually stimulate the ovary to produce more estrogen and progesterone, thus increasing the possibility of developing endometriosis, which is a condition that involves endometrial tissue that grows in the uterus. When estrogen and progesterone are present in high enough levels, it has been shown that the risk of uterine cancer is reduced. In addition, clomiphene may also help to prevent uterine contractions during pregnancy, a known cause of premature delivery. The clomiphene citrate is thought to act on the brain and reproductive system to promote smooth communication between the uterus and fallopian tubes and allows women with endometriosis to conceive without too much pain. There is also some preliminary evidence that suggests clomiphene can ease the symptoms associated with menopause and pre-menstrual syndrome.

While there is a great deal of research on this compound, very little is currently available in the way of human data regarding its safety in pregnant women. One of the most important concerns is the increased risk of congenital anomalies in the infant or fetus when women take this compound during their pregnancy. This concern is raised due to the fact that women who were treated with clomiphene in the first trimester of their pregnancy had a low risk of having a baby with congenital abnormalities. However, this risk was not increased nor was it found to be present in women who did not receive this treatment.

It is not clear how much of the compound is needed in order to prevent a miscarriage or have an adverse effect on a developing fetus.
