Israel to alleviate constraints on Gaza strip

(MENAFN) Israel declared on Friday, July 30, that it will alleviate some constraints enforced on the Gaza Strip, counting an increase of the permitted fishing zone.

Ghassan Alian, chief of the Coordination of the Government Activities in the Territories, stated in a report "On Sunday, it will be possible to bring equipment and goods to Gaza, including materials for projects funded by the international community in the areas of food, water, medicine, and fishing".

The report added that Gaza inhabitants will be permitted to travel to Jordan through Israel and the Israeli side will permit the entry of 29 cars to Gaza which had been held at Israeli ports since May.

It also stated that the lessening of constraints came at an assessment conclusion of the security situation with the endorsement of the political point.
