Israel to revive its Tourism industry as May 23

(MENAFN) Local officials announced on Tuesday that Israel will permit tourist groups, who have been vaccinated against the COVID-19, to enter the state as of May 23.

As per a statement released jointly by the Tourism Ministry and Health Ministry, a framework for the reopening of the industry was drafted after
about a year since Israel shut its borders.

The joint report further included that a limited number of groups could arrive in the country in the first stage, whereas in the second stage, individual travelers will be allowed into Israel.

All visitors will be required to present a negative PCR test before boarding the flight to Israel, and a serological test proving their vaccination upon arrival at the Ben Gurion International Airport outside Tel Aviv.
