Ukraine- Energoatom expects to receive UAH 1B in net profit for Q1 2021


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine's National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom expects to receive over UAH 1 billion in net profit in the first quarter of 2021.

Acting President of Energoatom Petro Kotin said this at a press conference on April 13, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

'According to the results of the first quarter of 2021, NNEGC Energoatom expects to receive about UAH 2.4 billion in gross profit and slightly more than UAH 1 billion in net profit. In the first quarter of last year, a net loss of UAH 1.5 billion was recorded," Kotin said.

According to him, the total amount of revenues in the first quarter of 2021 amounted to UAH 16.7 billion, which is 13% more than in the first quarter of 2020 and one third more than in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Due to the positive financial results, the company is planning to pay about UAH 1.3 billion in dividends and income tax in the first quarter, Kotin added.

As Ukrinform reported, Energoatom received UAH 45.648 billion in net sales revenue and UAH 6.837 billion in gross profit in 2020.
