Zambia's VP demands regional collaboration to combat coronavirus


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Mar. 31 in order to combat the coronavirus pandemic along with other pandemics that may erupt one day, Zambia's Vice President Inonge Wina demanded collaboration in the southern African region.

There was a necessity for augmented collaboration by nations in the region in combating the coronavirus pandemic together with other health threats, stated the Zambian vice president.

The pandemic put the economic improvement of the region at risk, noted the Zambian vice president in comments delivered when she virtually opened the Southern Africa Regional Collaborating Center in Lusaka, Zambia's capital.

She added that the region will only advance if there was collaboration amongst nations.
