Turkey's benchmark stock index closes high on Tuesday
(MENAFN)On Tuesday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the day at 1,395.79 points, increased 0.23 percent.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 3.22 points on Monday's close at 1,392.57 points, after opening the day at 1,392.84 points.
The index's lowest worth stood at 1,371.43 points, as its daily high reached 1,400.77 points.
The total amount of market value of the BIST 100 stood at 1.07 trillion Turkish liras (USD132.2 billion) by market close, with a daily trading rate of 22.14 billion Turkish liras (USD2.65 billion).
In comparison to Monday, 36 stocks on the index increased, 63 dropped, and one was unchanged, on the second transaction day of the week.
