Ukrainian miners produced 2.56M tonnes of coal in February


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) In February 2021, Ukrainian mining enterprises produced 2,555,628 tonnes of coal, which is 19% higher than the production plan, the Coal Miners Union of Ukraine reported with a reference to the Energy Ministry.

In Donetsk region, 1,061,182 million tonnes of coal were produced by coal mining enterprises of all forms of ownership in February 2021, including 392,119 tonnes of coal produced by state-owned mines, which is 13,106 tonnes less than the production plan.

Enterprises of the Energy Ministry in Luhansk region produced 22,170 tonnes of coal, which is 11,530 tonnes less than the production plan.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia extracted 1,356,614 tonnes of coal, which is 786 tonnes less than the production plan.

In Lviv region, Lvivvuhillia State Enterprise produced 114,542 tonnes of coal. The production plan was exceeded by 11,442 tonnes.

SE Volynvuhillia extracted 1,120 tonnes of coal. The production plan was fulfilled by 10%.

Since the start of 2021, Ukrainian coal mining enterprises of all forms of ownership produced 5,136,007 tonnes of coal, which is 112% of the plan.
