Dubai visa: GDRFA to accept only e-medical test results
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has issued a new notification for residents.
DON'T MISS: Vehicle testing certificates in Dubai now paperless
Starting February 14, 2021, the authority will receive medical test results electronically only.
Typically, residents submit a print out of medical test results for visa issuance. Starting February 14, the GDRFA will activate an electronic link with the departments concerned, eliminating the need for the print out.
This is in line with the Dubai Paperless Strategy , which seeks to make sure that no employee or customer of the Dubai government departments will need to print any paper after 2021.
The Dubai Paperless Strategy will eliminate over one billion papers annually used today in Dubai government transactions.
