New highway to be built to Isa spring in Azerbaijan's Shusha

A new road will be built to the Isa spring in Azerbaijan's Shusha city liberated from the Armenian occupation, Anar Najafli, Spokesman for the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, told Trend.

He said that the project will be implemented within the framework of the construction of the 101-kilometer Fuzuli-Shusha highway.

"The project for the construction of the new road includes the laying of an additional 2-kilometer road of the second category to the famous Isa spring in the city of Shusha. The two-lane road will start at approximately 82 km of the new Fuzuli-Shusha highway. Also, at the intersection with the Lachin-Shusha-Khankandi road, a 900-meter-long tunnel will be built," Najafli added.
