After the affliction in the family, he was totally broken. he took a gap for a year to overcome the sudden demise of his father.

Pushkar Sharma got a leave and headed to Kenya in October 2019. After returning back home from Kenya. In November 2019, he received a call from Ruaraka Sports club Nairobi, Kenya to play there in the Kenyan Team.

It was a difficult time for Pushkar Sharma to decide whether to leave for Kenya or continue in India as a regular life.

In January 2020, Pushkar Sharma flew to Kenya looking forward to fulfill his late father's dream of becoming a successful Cricketer.
