Morocco lists 23 virus-induced deaths, 1,240 cases

RABAT, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- The Moroccan Ministry of Health said on Saturday that 23 more people died from the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) and 1,240 others contracted the illness over the past 24 hours.
The figures pushed the overall tally to 7,911 deaths and 458,865 infections.
The recoveries surged by 1,361 to 433,937, the ministry said in its daily update. (end)
