UAE public holidays for 2021, 2022 announced by Cabinet


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) ABU DHABI, 19th December, 2020 (WAM) -- The UAE Cabinet has announced the national holidays for both the public and private sector for the years 2021 and 2022.

Holidays announced for 2021:

1 January: New Year

29 Ramadan to 3 Shawwal: Eid Al Fitr

9 Zul Hijjah: Arafah Day

10,11,12 Zul Hijjah: Eid Al Adha

12 August : Islamic New Year

21 October: Prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) birthday

1 December: Commemoration Day

2 and 3 December: National Day

 

Holidays for year 2022:

1 January: New Year

29 Ramadan to 3 Shawwal: Eid Al Fitr

30 July: Islamic New Year

8 October: Prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) birthday
