Qatar- MME lays out national flag of flowers

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has made a large national flag of flowers in front of the main stage of the Qatar National Day (QND) Parade venue.

The Ministry represented by the Public Parks Department and all municipalities, has carried out beautification and decoration works in various cities, regions and vital facilities to mark the National Day.

The Public Parks Department distributed a large number of flowering ponds in various shapes (cups, jars, vases, bowls, and rectangular basins), in the Doha Corniche, the Ministry of Culture and Sports building, the headquarters of the Supreme Committee for National Day, and others. 

Al Rayyan municipality, represented by the Park Section, supervised the planting of seedlings of seasonal flowers in the various areas of the municipality.

In preparation for the National Day, the Public Parks Department has coordinated with the Parks Section of Al Shamal Municipality to carry out disinfection operations for all parks and facilities, and follow up the implementation of precautionary measures for the entry of visitors, such as measuring temperature, ensuring that precautions are applied, and the children's play areas continue to close and gatherings are prohibited .

For its part, the Park Section of Al Wakrah Municipality, in coordination with the Public Parks Department, distributed and planted flower plants and seedlings in the main streets, while the Parks Department in Umm Salal Municipality planted seasonal flowers in the various areas and streets of the municipality, in addition to planting numbers of trees.

Within the framework of preparations and preparations for the celebration of the National Day, the Park Section of Doha Municipality planted seasonal flowers in all parks and areas, cleaned and painted Washingtonia trees white in the Corniche Street and placed flower towers and hangings on lighting poles in cooperation with the Public Parks Department across Doha.

As part of the celebration of the National Day of the State of Qatar, Al Shamal Municipality decorated Al Shamal city with flags at all its entrances and on both sides of the streets, and gifts were distributed to the visitors to celebrate with them this eternal national memory.
