Lebanon lists 1,909 virus cases, 16 mortalities
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, Nov 19 (KUNA) -- Lebanon on Thursday announced that 16 patients died from the coronavirus (COVID-19) and 1,909 people tested positive for the pandemic in the last 24 hours.
In its daily report, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said the total cases rose to 111,905 and deaths hit 868 since the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The number of recoveries climbed to 63,468, it added, noting that up to 13,093 medical tests were conducted in the same period.
Lebanon's supreme defense council decided a full lockdown until November 29 to face the spread of the coronavirus. (end)
