Afghanistan to benefit from CPEC: Qureshi
(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): China- Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects will benefit the entire region, including Afghanistan , says the foreign minister.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, speaking to a private news channel on Tuesday, said the CPEC projects would have a positive impact on the war-devastated country.
On trade with Afghanistan, the minister said markets would be set up on the Durand Line to promote business activities in the region.
Stability in Afghanistan and CPEC would bring prosperity to the region, he hoped, saying discussions on a new visa policy for Afghans were ongoing.
