Wholesale sales in Canada increase in July

Statistics Canada said on Friday that the wholesale sales in Canada rose 4.3 percent set at a total of 65 billion Canadian dollars (USD49 billion) in July.

July marked the 3rd month of strong growth in the sales over the rising sales in the motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts and accessories subsector.

Without the motor vehicle and motor vehicle parts and accessories subsector, the wholesale sales increased 1.8 percent.

The wholesale sale volumes added 4.2 percent in July.
