Kuwait confirms 717 new coronavirus infections


(MENAFN) The Health Ministry stated in a report Kuwait on Wednesday, August 12, registered 717 new COVID-19 infections and three more fatalities, taking the count of cases to 73,785 and the fatalities to 489.

Now, 7,845 patients are getting treatment, counting 117 in ICU, the report stated.

The ministry also declared the recovery of 692 more patients, taking the total recoveries in the country to 65,451.

Kuwait began the third-phase strategy of reinstating normal life on July 28. During this stage, labor capacity will boost to no less than 50 percent and visits to social care homes will be permitted.
