Lebanon confirms 86 new COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, July 11 (KUNA) -- Lebanon declared that 86 patients tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19) on Saturday with no death, taking the tally to 2,168.
In its daily report, the Ministry of Health said the death and the recovery rates stand at 36 and 1,402 respectively.
Up to 6, 828 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, it said.
The Lebanese government announced the extension of general mobilization as part of measures taken to curb the spread of the virus until August 2.
Rafiq Al-Hariri international airport resumed its flights on July 1. (end)
