Coronavirus claims 7 more lives in Kuwait, death toll at 212


(MENAFN) According to a statement issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, the overall tally of patients who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus across the nation has risen to 27,043 as 851 more cases were confirmed over the past 24 hours with 7 more lives were reported claimed by the virus during the dame period, lifting the national death toll to 212.

The ministerial statement also revealed that the current record of patients who are being held under medical treatment in local facilities amounted to 15,445 with 200 of them are in Intensive Care Units.

Meanwhile, the combined toll of patients who have survived the deadly disease has surged to 11,386 as 1,230 new recoveries were recorded recently.

As of Sunday, Kuwaiti government has ended the full lockdown and imposed a three-week partial curfew in order to gradually return to normal life in the state.
