Ukraine reopens 66 checkpoints on border with EU, Moldova


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine has resumed work at 66 checkpoints on the state border with the EU and Moldova from May 29, the Internal Ministry of Affairs of Ukraine has reported.

"From 0:00 on May 29, 2020, the work of 66 checkpoints on the state border from the Ukrainian side has been resumed. The relevant changes regarding the operation of checkpoints were introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the order No.288 of March 13, 2020," the statement says.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine also announced the resumption of work at checkpoints on the Ukrainian side by neighboring countries, in particular the EU countries and the Republic of Moldova, "since the list of checkpoints that resume their work does not include checkpoints on the state border with Belarus and the Russian Federation".
