New Prodigy Cloud System Announced by S2C Aimed At Next Generation SoC Prototyping
(MENAFN- Comserve) Elkland, United States, May 20, 2020, 09:10 /Comserve / -- The world leader in FPGA-based prototyping solutions for accelerated SoC verification, S2C, announced the launch of its new product, Prodigy Cloud System.
Founded by a group of Silicon Valley veterans in the year 2003, the new product of S2C have been implemented with Virtex UltraScale VU440 FPGA, manufactured by the semiconductor manufacturing company, Xilinx, along with the implementation in Stratix 10 GX 10M FPGA, manufactured by another semiconductor manufacturing company, Intel.
Next generation SoC development requires high density and scalable deployment for greater efficient productivity. As such, the cloud based prototyping system of S2C is the logical choice for such complex S0Cs.
The San Jose-based S2C Prodigy Cloud System is scalable as it has up to 2.5 billion logic gates over 32 FPGAs in single standard server rack. On the other hand, by the use of multiple interconnected server racks, further expansion of the cloud system can be deployed.
The Prodigy Cloud System, that has been developed by S2C, a company which is also long known for delivering rapid SoC prototyping solutions, is a centralized system, and can be deployed fast with easy maintenance. Further, the Prodigy cloud System also supports remote access, providing accessibility to multi-user for multi-project management.
In the recent era, the verification of SoCs, continues to face a relentless demand for greater design operating cycles. On the other hand, the cost of failure on advanced silicon nodes continues to rise upward, followed by the challenges to traditional verification methods developed due to the functionality, complex test data, modes of operation and others.
Prodigy Cloud Systems by S2C provides a greater response to the challenge faced for conventional verification methods, as it meets the growing requirement for early verification of hardware-dependent software and also supports multiple simultaneous users.
The CEO of S2C, Toshio Nakama, also stated that Prodigy Cloud systems has the ability to launch a large number of design instance for FPGA prototyping. He also further stated that the product provides its customers to develop the latest and largest SoCs in the world.
