Nearly 50 kg of marijuana confiscated in Turkey's Adana


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, Turkish security forces managed to confiscate a total of 49.7 kilograms of marijuana during a raid conducted in southern Turkey.

Provincial police emphasized that they managed to discover the illegal drug with the assistance of a sniffer dog inside a vehicle in Adana.

It is worth mentioning that as many as 20 packs of unlawful drugs were discovered hidden in a concealed division of the vehicle, and the driver was rounded up for questioning measures.

The communique also highlighted that squads were still ongoing to combat illegal drug trafficking and prevent its personal use.
