HEC Paris in Qatar offers executive short program on social media marketing

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) HEC Paris Qatar will run its intensive two-day ‘Effective Strategies for Social Media Marketing' Executive Short Program designed to give managers a strategic overview on how social media can be leveraged to support B2C and B2B customers in their decision journeys.
The program will be held at HEC Paris in Qatar campus in Tornado Tower, on March 18. This Executive Short Program will be led by the Associate Dean and Director of the PhD Program at HEC Paris, Kristine de Valck (pictured), whose research and teaching over the past 15 years has focused on how the Internet in general and social media in particular have changed consumer behaviour, organisations, and marketing practice.
Professor De Valck commented: 'Participants of the program will gain in-depth knowledge on how to identify opportunities for encouraging, incentivizing and managing the many-to-many interactions on social media in a manner that enhances value both for companies and customers.
'The ‘Effective Strategies for Social Media Marketing' Executive Short Program will show participants the role that Internet and social media now play in a consumer's purchase decision process. It will also cover how social media can be leveraged to help build brand awareness using content marketing, and how it is considered a crucial customer service and support tool. We will further educate participants on how they can engage with influencers for targeted marketing purposes. This program is designed to give participants an edge in an increasingly competitive market, added Professor De Valck.
By enrolling in this Executive Short Program, participants will enhance their understanding of the difference between traditional, digital and social media marketing. They will also gain up-to-date insights on the varied social media landscape. Moreover, participants will increase their social media literacy by learning key concepts of social media marketing and they will develop the ability to design successful social media strategies.
