A-G praises strong and historical ties between Qatar & Morocco in all fields
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Marrakesh: The Attorney-General, H E Dr. Ali Bin Fetais Al Marri, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center, signed yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the President of Cadi Ayyad University, Pr. Moulay Lhassan, to establish a chair on the rule of law and anti-corruption in the university.
The MoU was signed on the sidelines of an academic forum on fighting corruption that was held in the university under the auspices of the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center with the attendance of Al Marri and Chief Public Prosecutor in Morocco and the Kings Attorney-General, Mohamed Abdel Nabawi, a number of deans of colleges, and law students in Morocco.
Speaking during the forum, Al Marri highlighted the strong academic partnership between the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Center and the Cadi Ayyad University. He also praised the strong and historical ties between Qatar and Morocco in all fields, noting that today's memorandum of understanding will be the beginning of further cooperation in the future. He added that political will in both Qatar and Morocco always direct to enhance the rule of law and combat corruption, noting that the establishment of the chair is proof of that.
Speaking to journalists, Al Marri praised the development and stability of Morocco thanks to its leadership and support of its people, stressing the importance of supporting Morocco in all fields led by the rule of law.
