(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ADEN, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- Yemen's city of Taiz on Sunday celebrated the national holidays of Kuwait, with an event organized by the Communication for Human Development Foundation under the supervision of the International Mercy Association under the slogan (Love of Kuwait brings us together).
The foundation's Director Zaki Al-Ariqi said that this event comes to join the brothers in Kuwait, their celebrations of the 59th National Day of Independence, the 29th anniversary of liberation, and the 14th anniversary of the assumption of His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
This celebration comes in appreciation of the humanitarian support provided by Kuwait to the Yemeni people for decades, he added.
He expressed his congratulations and blessings on behalf of the Yemeni people to the Kuwaiti Amir, government and people on national holidays, praising the great humanitarian and development support provided by (the International Mercy Society) and its adoption of specific projects in various fields.
