(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) will sign a cooperation agreement with Djibouti news agency (Agence Djiboutienne d'Information - ADI) tomorrow, KUNA's Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Sabah said Tuesday.
The agreement will be signed Wednesday during the visit of the Djiboutian media delegation to Kuwait. Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij, in a press statement, welcomed the delegation's visit upon KUNA's invitation.
The delegation includes director of communications and information at the ministry of communications, ADI's director and Arabic-language newspaper Al-Qarn's editor-in-chief.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij explained that he will sign with his Djiboutian counterpart a cooperation agreement that includes exchange of information, news and photos, as well as exchanging visits.
Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij stressed vitality of this agreement, which strengthens cooperation between the two agencies, especially for KUNA into the African continent.
He stressed KUNA's keenness to deep-seat its presence in African countries as part of the State of Kuwait's endeavor to consolidate its relations with various countries within the continent. (end)
