According to the 2018 urvey conducted by Thomon Reuter Foundation, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Nigeria are ranked econd and third wort in Africa, and eventh and ninth repectively in the world map.

Seven year ago a Thomon Reuter Foundation expert' urvey found the five mot dangerou countrie for women were een to be Afghanitan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Pakitan, India, and Somalia. Thi year we et out to ee if the ituation had changed. We wanted to find out whether more wa being done to addre the overall rik faced by women, and pecifically regarding healthcare, acce to economic reource, cutomary practice, exual violence, non-exual violence and human trafficking. We expanded our poll to the 10 mot dangerou countrie with ome urpriing reult. World leader vowed three year ago to eliminate all form of violence and dicrimination againt women and girl by 2030, allowing them to live freely and afely to participate equally in political, economic and public life. But depite thi pledge it i etimated that one in three women globally experience phyical or exual violence during their lifetime. Child marriage i till rife, with almot 750 million women and girl married before their 18th birthday, reulting in teen pregnancie that can put their health at rik and limiting chooling and opportunitie.
