UAE strongly convicts al-Shabab bomb attack in Somalia


(MENAFN) In Sunday, the United Arab Emirates strongly convicted a car bomb attack in the town of Afgoye, Somalia, which resulted in the murder of scores of people and wounds to many more, the official news agency WAM reported.

The foreign ministry expressed in a statement its "utter denunciation of this criminal act and rejection of all forms of violence, which aim to undermine security and stability and completely contravene all religious and human values and principles".

The ministry also offered its condolences to the relatives of the killed people and wished a quick recovery to the wounded people.

Al-Shabab armed group claimed responsibility for the attack.
