Bangladesh- Coffee World, pioneer of freshly brewed coffee in BD

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Before all the coffee roasters set foot in Bangladesh, Coffee World was the only freshly brewed coffee brand in the country. And till this very day, their coffee stands out for its unique blend and arousing taste.
Headquartered in Thailand, Coffee World opened its master franchise in Bangladesh with Etcetera Bangladesh Ltd, a concern of Ascent Group, in 2007.
The café is adored by the coffee lovers for its pure medium roasted Arabica coffee beans imported from Bolaven of Laos and Chiang Mai of Thailand. "We brew and serve it fresh to the customers, with some modifications based on the taste buds of our market," said Siragis Salekin, Manager - Operations, Coffee World.
The brand serves coffee in three sizes - presto (small), pro (regular) and alto (large).
Their hot cappuccino and latte, available at BDT 195 (presto) and BDT 260 (pro), are undoubtedly among the top favourites.
The signature mocha frappe available at BDT 345 (Pro) and BDT 365 (Alto) are what ice blended coffee lovers always go for. They are always available in fun flavours such as mocha chip, mocha cookie and oreo mocha mint.
Coffee World remains true to its name. The food items offered here have one sole purpose - complementing the coffee. "We do not serve anything oriental. There are only Continental items such as waffle, salad, sandwich, pasta etc which go great with coffee," said Salekin.
The café is going to bring delicious American BBQ Chicken sandwich this December.
To the sweet-tooth's delight, Coffee World serves tongue-pleasing waffles as desserts too. Their Nutella Waffle, priced at BDT 335, is a definite crowd-pleaser. Interestingly, they serve waffles with toasted marshmallows which sets them apart from other waffle places. Their Strawberry Cream Cheese Waffle, priced at BDT 330, is also a massive hit among the customers.
Coffee World has recently introduced some new items. From the non-coffee based drinks, their new cheesecake frappes, priced at BDT 350, in many flavours such as original, blueberry frappes, caramel and strawberry seem to have garnered much popularity.
They have also brought a new coffee type - cold brew where they grind the bean and soak it with water overnight. It is available in regular, strawberry, orange and lemon flavours.
Coffee World is also planning to bring new flavours for hot coffees in winter. And for the summer there will be new smoothies.
Another great initiative of Coffee World is its Customer Privilege Card. It is a customised card that allows a customer to avail discounts for all products in all outlets of Coffee World.
Now, Coffee World Bangladesh is going to sign a MoU with the brand's headquarter this year-end that will allow the cardholders to avail discounts even in all outlets of Thailand.
Coffee World has four outlets in Dhaka - Dhanmondi, Gulshan, Banani and Uttara.
