(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Two disabled soldiers launched a death fast this evening despite a cabinet decision taken to resolve their dispute.
The two disabled, retired soldiers, are among several disabled soldiers protesting in Fort.
Cabinet had today approved a proposal to grant all members of the Armed Forces, Police and the Special Task Force who have been disabled due to the war, a pension equal to their last salary even after retirement.
