Battery manufacturing profits in China rise

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that the battery enterprises in China which are above designates size saw a strong growth in net profits in the period from January to July of the year.
The total profit increased 63.7 percent since the past year to reach USD2.33 billion in the first seven months.
Business revenue of the enterprises rose 14.5 percent to reach USD57.66 billion in the period.
Out of the main industry products, the output of lithium-ion battery in the period added 10 percent to USD8.32 billion units from one year earlier.
