Panasonic Launches Freestyle Cordless Steam Irons

Panasonic is making ironing easier than ever with the launch of two new cordless steam iron models. Designed for hassle-free ironing, the NI-WL41 and NI-WL30 eliminate the twists and tangles of a power cord thus offering users the ultimate agility with every glide and stroke on the fabric for a perfectly smooth and effortless ironing.

The cordless steam irons feature a unique soleplate design intended to make the completion of the task faster and easier for users. Tapered at both ends and symmetrically formed, the Multi-Direction Soleplate offers freedom of movement as you can easily iron back and forth and side-to-side without causing any creases, therefore saving time while efficiently ironing all part of the clothes.

The new models’ revolutionary non-stick and non-scratch ceramic soleplate is also curved, which allows for smooth ironing in all directions without snagging. With the soleplate’s edges curved upward, friction against the fabric is effectively reduced, enabling the iron to glide further and even move side to side.

Both the NI-WL41 and the NI-WL30 come with a 135cc detachable water tank, which allows for easy pouring in and removing of water.

Intuitive technology meets ergonomic design aesthetics for these models. The irons are designed symmetrically to maximize the full freedom of movement, while the gripping position is placed at the center of gravity to ensure smooth ironing without losing balance. The power base is tilted at 20° so users can take the iron out and set it back with complete ease.

Apart from these, the irons have been engineered to harness the power of steam for a flawless finish. With their power and vertical shot steam system, the irons can blast off large quantities of concentrated steam to penetrate deeply into the fabric so that it never loses its texture.

With the Auto Steam Stopper function, there is no need to refill the water tank again and again because the steam automatically stops when the iron is set on the power base. Steam is thus used efficiently while eliminating the likelihood of dampening the floor. Users can also select the amount of steam in three levels – dry, medium and high – while steam circulation is top-notch with the circular groove spreading steam over the whole soleplate.

In terms of safety and stability, these new models are also superior as the hot plate rests steadily on the power base, reducing the risks of burn injuries or the appliance falling off board. The high-end NI-WL41 model boasts the Auto-Shutoff feature, which kicks in if the iron is left upright and turned on untouched for 10 minutes. It also comes with a heat-resistant carrying case for easy storage and requires no cooling before being packed in storage.

The self-cleaning abilities of the Panasonic NI-WL41 and NI-WL30 have been proven to be efficient and effective. Both models prevent water leakage by automatically halting the water supply in case the temperature of the soleplate drops to a certain level. The anti-calcium system, meanwhile, helps to reduce mineral deposit build-ups in the vaporizing chamber, ensuring that the steam vents do not get clogged up.
