The current sixth generation Quattroporte arrived in 2013—a significant improvement over the previous generations. Now grown-up, the current Quattroporte styling closely echoes that of the GranTurismo's. And the sporty interior received updated materials and innovative technologies.
Better yet, Maserati dropped the naturally-aspirated, 4.7-liter V-8 engine in favor of a turbocharged, 3.8-liter unit. The luxury Italian brand also added a 3.0-liter, V-6 engine to Quattroporte line-up models.
For the model year 2019, the all-new Quattroporte gained a handful of exterior and interior refinements. All making it look more luxurious, athletic, and appealing than ever. Undoubtedly, it is the world's only super-sedan! More stylish visual changes visually, the latest Quattroporte blends sensational Italian beauty with sporty and aggressive touches. The 2019 Quattroporte is available in four trim levels: the standard 'Quattroporte, the more luxurious 'GranLusso, the sportier 'GranSport, and finally the top-of-the-line 'GranSport GTS.
In all variants, customers can expect to find a new front bumper, a revised grille, larger side vents, and stylish chrome strips. Designed for clients seeking a stylish appearance, the GranLusso trim level adds chrome-trimmed bumper inserts, body-colored lower front bumper elements, a body-colored rear spoiler, and 20-inch wheels.
Among the key exterior features of the sportier GranSport and GranSport GTS trims are a restyled rear bumper with black accents above the quad exhausts, Piano Black spoiler, 21-inch wheels with red brake calipers, and blue detailing on the front 'Trident badge.
Aside from the full-LED adaptive headlights, the front grille in all trim levels features an electrically adjustable Air Shutter. It optimizes control of fluid temperature and reduces drag by up to 10 percent.
Dimensionally speaking, the full-size luxury sedan has an overall length of 5262 mm and measures 1948 mm and 1481 mm in width and height, respectively. The latest Quattroporte also has a generous wheelbase of 3171 mm.
Sporty interior with premium touches Inside the cabin, the all-new Quattroporte displays a handful of styling changes including an elegant dashboard. It's dominated by a new 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen display compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Aside from easy-to-spot high-quality materials, the redesigned center console now has a clean design. The new layout reduces the number of physical buttons to a minimum. There is also a rotary control unit behind the gearshift for volume and infotainment functions. Better yet, the thick center stack and three-spoke leather multifunction steering wheel both accentuate the sophisticated interior.
