0.47 decline in British shares

British stocks have gone down on Friday; the benchmark FTSE 100 Index decreased 0.47 percent at 7,094.98 points.

Mexican-based precious metals mining company, Fresnillo, increased 2.89 percent and was the best performer in blue chips, SSE added 2.6 percent and Berkeley Group Holdings gained 2.56 percent.

Private healthcare services provider, NMC Health, had the poorest blue chips performance and lost 6.05 percent. JD Sports Fashion shed 2.88 percent. Marks & Spencer Group, a major British multinational retailer, decreased 2.63 percent.
