Habib Bank appoints Haroon as Oman country manager

Habib Bank Limited (HBL) announced the appointment of Adnan Haroon as the country manager of HBL-Oman.

Haroon will be based in Muscat. He has taken over from Syed Ali Hasnain, who has decided to pursue opportunities outside HBL, according to a press release.

Haroon joins HBL-Oman from Universe Chartered Accountant (UCA) where he served as the managing director. He has held roles during his 23 years of diverse experience that have had direct impact on providing customers and clients unparalleled service experience. Prior to his last role, he was associated with Standard Chartered Oman, HSBC Oman and Mashreq Bank (Dubai). Haroon is a Chartered Accountant from Pakistan and Certified Strategic Management from George Washington University.
