Turkey: roadside bomb blast kills 1 in Hakkari


(MENAFN) Authorities stated that as many as one individual was killed on Sunday as a result of a roadside bomb blast which occurred in southeastern Hakkari province.

The provincial governor's office stated in a statement that a vehicle was passing through the Catalca neighborhood in Semdinli district when the bomb put by PKK terrorists exploded.

In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK - considered as a terrorist group by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU - has been responsible for the deaths of approximately 40,000 people, including many women, children and infants.
