Qatar- FM sends message to Ethiopian counterpart


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Gedu Andargatchew, yesterday received a written message from HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, pertaining to bilateral ties and the means to enhance them. The message was delivered by Qatar's ambassador to Ethiopia, Hamad bin Mohamed al-Dosari, during a meeting with the Minister of State for Affairs of Ethiopia Hirut Zemene, in Addis Ababa.
Qatar-Eswatini bilateral ties reviewed
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of the Kingdom of Eswatini Thuli Dladla yesterday received a written message from HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, pertaining to bilateral ties and the means of enhancing them. The message was delivered by Acting Charges d'Affaires of Qatar to the Kingdom of Eswatini Ahmed bin Tajer Mohamed al-Sada, during a meeting with the minister of foreign affairs and international co-operation yesterday in Mbabane.
FM sends message to Tajik counterpart
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, Sirodjidin Mukhriddin, has received a written message from HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, pertaining to bilateral relations and means of boosting them.
The message was delivered by Qatar's ambassador to Tajikistan Ibrahim bin Mohamed al-Abdullah during a meeting with Tajikistan's minister of foreign affairs in Dushanbe yesterday.
Qatar-India ties reviewed
The Minister of External Affairs of India Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar has received a written message from HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani, pertaining to bilateral relations and means of boosting them.
The message was delivered by the ambassador of Qatar to India Mohamed Khater al-Khater during a meeting with the Assistant Undersecretary for Gulf Affairs at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs Dr TV Nagendra Prasad in New Delhi yesterday.
Qatar condemns Kabul explosions
Qatar expressed its strong denunciation and condemnation of the three consecutive explosions in the Afghan capital Kabul, which resulted in deaths and injuries.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of their motives and reasons.
The ministry expressed the condolences of Qatar to the victims' families and the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Qatar Youth Hostels holds training
Qatar Youth Hostels organised a training course on ‘communication skills with tourist delegations'. The training course was presented by Jawahar al-Mana and attended by 25 Qatari men and women at the Bait Al-Hikma (House of Wisdom) Hall at the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
In a statement yesterday, Qatar Youth Hostels said that this training course is part of its strategic plan for youth hostels and its objectives to promote tourism internally among youth and expand its concept.
The course seeks to empower young people and improve their communication and tourism skills, as well as train them to build relations with tourist delegations to provide them with the necessary information about the various sites and tourist attractions in the country, in a way that enhances their skills and abilities as part of the preparation of Youth Hostels to receive the participating tourist delegations in its various programmes.
