Local Chinese authorities said on Tuesday that a gas poisoning at a biochemical company has caused the death of five people and injury to four others in China's north Hebei district, Huailai County, as reported by Xinhua.
According to the county's publicity department, the incident took place at approximately 4:30 pm on Monday as employees were cleaning a sewage container at the Great Wall Biochemical Engineering Company.
The reason behind the incident is still being investigated.
