Qatar- Grocery shut for storing expired food products

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Al Sheehaniyah Municipality has issued an administrative decision to shut down a grocery at a farm there for a period of 60 days for keeping expired food products.
This came during a inspection campaign carried out by Al Sheehaniyah Municipality's health control section at the grocery shop in response to a complaint, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) said in a statement.
Accordingly, a report was issued against the outlet for violation of Law No 8 of 1990 on the regulation of human food control.
Meanwhile, marine patrols (Al Khor Marine Unit) belonging to the MME's Natural Reserves Department detected a violation of fishing regulations when they found fishing nets not conforming to the relevant stipulations, the statement noted.
Accordingly, the fishing nets were confiscated and the necessary legal procedures
initiated against the violators.
