U.S. to support energy reform programs in Ukraine Logsdon


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The United States is ready to work with international partners to support Ukraine's energy reform programs, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has reported.

"During meetings with officials of the World Bank and the EU, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Energy Resources Kent D. Logsdon underscored the U.S. commitment to supporting Ukraine's energy reform agenda together with international partners," the embassy informs on Twitter.

As reported, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Danyliuk held a meeting with Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Energy Resources Kent D. Logsdon and U.S. Charge d'Affaires a.i. in Ukraine William Taylor. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of Ukraine's energy security, in particular, the activities of Naftogaz of Ukraine, the issue of nuclear energy of Ukraine and prospects of cooperation in this sphere.
