Qatari emir pays Pakistan official visit


(MENAFN) On Saturday, Pakistan's prime minister and Qatari emir encountered in Islamabad.

The Prime Minister's Office stated in a statement that Pakistan's Imran Khan and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held one-on-one meeting, followed by delegation-level discussions.

It emphasized that both parties decided to take serious steps to increase the volume of bilateral trade, boost cooperation in agriculture and food sectors, and promote cooperation in energy sector, in the fields of aviation, maritime affairs, defense and defense production.

They also touched on the local situation and efforts to ease the Afghan peace process, according to the statement.
