Jordanian held by Houthis arrives home


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, June 22 (Petra)- The Jordanian citizen, held in Yemen by the Houthi group since February 12, arrived at Queen Alia International Airport after measures to fly him back home to the Kingdom have finished, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced.
In cooperation and coordination between the ministry and other Jordanian state institutions, these efforts resulted in the release of the citizen and securing his return to the Kingdom, the ministry's spokesperson Ambassador Sufian Qudah said.
Qudah noted an emergency travel document was issued to the citizen to be able his return, who arrived today in the Kingdom in good health.
