Saudi King: Arab, Islamic countries stand firm against hostile threats


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MAKKAH, May 31 (KUNA) -- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz said Friday Arab and Islamic countries would stand firm against "hostile threats and sabotage activities," which hampered development and progress of "our societies."
Saudi King, in a message from his officiald Twitter account before start of a summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), said "we are meeting in Makkah to build a future for our people, and to achieve security and stability for our Arab and Islamic countries."
The 57-member OIC summit is due to start shortly attended by heads of state and government or their representatives. (pickup previous)
