Finnish ambassador completes diplomatic mission in Ukraine

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Olena Zerkalheld a meeting with Finland's Ambassador to Ukraine Mr Juha Virtanen on the occasion of completion of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

"During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of the Ukrainian-Finnish relations and emphasized the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation, in particular in the context of Finland's EU Presidency starting from July 1, 2019," the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported on Tuesday.

Olena Zerkal expressed gratitude to Finland for assistance in carrying out systemic reforms in Ukraine, primarily in the areas of energy efficiency and education reform, and wished the ambassador success in his further professional career.
