Hailing ties between Bangladesh and Turkey, the envoy stated: "the core of friendship between these two countries is deeply rooted in our shared history and culture."
Bangladesh and Turkey built up strong cooperation in various areas covering politics, commerce, economy, defense, education and culture, the envoy affirmed.
Foreign Ministers of the two countries are scheduled on Monday for political talks, which Siddiki anticipates to help boost ties between both sides.
