SDF to remove 3,000 foreign forces

(MENAFN) Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), supported by the United States, reached a decision to pullout 3,000 of its foreign troopers from its ranks.

Over a three-month period, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed on Sunday, the U.S-backed SDF will be withdrawing the foreign forces who are Iranian, Turkish and other nationals.

It comes after IS terrorists were conquered in eastern Syria, with the SDF and the U.S. coalition set to train Syrian forces to take the place of withdrawn fighters.

This also comes while massive demonstrations against the SDF erupted in northern and northeastern Syria.
