Turkish charity to distribute huge amount of Ramadan food aid


(MENAFN) A Turkish charity will provide at least 250,000 food boxes during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan both in the nation and abroad.

A total of 91 teams of the Istanbul-based Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) will operate in 120 nations and regions including Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, the besieged Gaza Strip, Arakan and East Turkestan, Bangladesh and Iraq during the Ramadan, emphasized a statement released by the charity.

IHH will also distribute fast-breaking meals, or iftar, to hundreds of thousands of people, the statement affirmed.

The charity will also distribute clothes to 67,920 orphans and children in 43 countries on the Eid al-Fitr," the holiday at the holy month's conclusion.
