Jordan- CPF, JAA discuss implementing Daad initiative
Amman, Apr. 29 (Petra) -- The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) and the Jordan Academy of Arabic (JAA) on Monday agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding to implement the Daad initiative, which aims to preserve the status and integrity of Arabic.
During the meeting, Chairman of the JAA, Khaled Karaki presented a briefing on the key activities and programs the academy carries out and the legislative and regulatory framework that governs its work.
Tamam Menko, Executive Director of the CPF, said the meeting aims at brainstorming ideas for projects that can be implemented under the initiative.
Earlier this month, HRH Crown Prince Hussein launched the Daad initiative to preserve the status and integrity of Arabic, while developing techniques to increase its digitization compatibility, and enrich online Arabic content.
