Strong earthquake jolts Tibet, China


(MENAFN) The China Earthquake Networks Center declared that an earthquake of a 6.3-magnitude has rattled Medog County in Nyingchi City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.

The center added that the quake hit 10 km deep into the ground.

The epicenter was located at 28.40 degrees north latitude and 94.61 degrees east longitude.
